Heathen/Pagan metal that doesn't sound like the fvckin metal version of polka! Wyrd is a band that can smoothly transition from soft acoustic guitars to smashing drone riffage, then to blasting black metal and then back to a whispering acoustic soundscape.Their music is depressing, somber and has that dark wintery feeling that just drags your face down into the snow. Wryd is simply another reason that I love the bad ass music that is coming from Finland these days.
