A few days ago, I was privileged to discuss with an art professor, the significance of wood-cut art. Of course, two of my most favorite artists are Durer and Dore, both whom created incredibly detailed and realistic wood-cuts. Out of the two, I seem to prefer Durer's style over Dore's. Dore has many iconoclastic images, but there is something really deep and emotional about Durer's art that just draws me in and captivates my attention. It is the art of Durer that adorns the wall of this blog (top right). How many hares can you find in Durer's images?
