The Satanic Scriptures

I finally received my hardback copy of this book, I wasn't about to settle for a paperback version....it's a bibliophile thing. Anyway, I must say that I am impressed by this new work of knowledge from La Vey's predecessor. Actually, I am going to take a stand and say that this new book is more intellectual than anything that La Vey ever wrote, but obviously no disrespect is meant by that statement. This book is a testament to the forward progression of Satanism: I can actually smell something fresh cooking up at the CoS headquarters... and I see a dynamically powerful future.
Back to the book itself: How could I resist to read a book with a chapter called "A Primer for Fledgling Misanthroplogists"? This chapter was the highlight of the entire book for me. Everything in that chapter seemed to ring true to my own thoughts and philosophies. One thing that Mr. Gilmore stated was his pyramid theory of humanity which places only a few people at the top of the pyramid. I wonder where he would place himself on that list? I would insert a quote for my readers, however I would not want to violate any copyrights....therefore please take a look at the official website for the book. The Satanic Scriptures
